The economy growth has made all the parents to fend for themselves and it is becoming difficult to feed the mouths of the dependents. Most of them spend more time working or paying the bills. The little time they have they tend to show their distress on the weaker objects, their family. Many of the parents work more and earn less. They are struggling to balance their lives on a thin thread of life.
Parents of this generation spend little time with their children. They do not involve in their children’s activities and needs. Children expect need and care from them while parents are busy paying for living. There rises the emotional distress in them.
Our school counsellors have initiated a program for parents, to counsel them to be responsible parents and individuals.
